We are a certified BCorp®.
On July 31, 2023, we achieved BCorp certification with a score of 91.1 points, an excellent result considering that of the more than 110,000 companies that have used the Benefit Impact Assessment (BIA), only 3 percent manage to reach 80 points, the minimum threshold to go through the verification process by B Lab. This certification verifies and ensures that a company operates according to the highest standards of social and environmental performance.
Note on Certification
"B Corporation Certification" is a mark that is licensed by B Lab, a private nonprofit corporation, to companies that, like ours, have successfully passed the B Impact Assessment ("BIA") and thus meet B Lab's requirements for social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.
It is specified that B Lab is not a conformity assessment body under Regulation (EU) No. 765/2008 or a national, European or international standards body under Regulation (EU) No. 1025/2012. BIA's criteria are separate and autonomous from harmonized standards resulting from ISO or other standards bodies and are not ratified by national or European public institutions.
The assessment areas considered by the BIA are as follows:
Governance
in which the transparency and ethics governing the company were viewed positively, as well as recognition that Tirelli & Partners' mission is firmly anchored in a sustainable development model as a Benefit Corporation.
Workers
in which the attention we pay to the welfare of all employees through the distribution of financial and non-financial benefits and through the creation of an environment based on supportive collaboration was positively evaluated.
Community
which rated more than flatteringly the company's commitment to generating positive social and economic impact, including through the requirement to donate an amount equal to 2 percent of annual sales or 20 percent of profits to charity.
Environment
where Tirelli & Partners' commitment to operate by limiting its CO2 emissions was recognized and its commitment to neutralize its annual impact on the environment through the creation of a socially useful forest was appreciated.

A real estate company with a vision
We dream
A just, clean, humane world.
We believe
In people and supportive collaboration.
We work
to build, among ourselves and with the people we meet, relationships based on care, respect and dedication.
We are committed
every day to create and inspire our community to adopt a socially responsible and sustainable business model. Because we are aware of the purpose of our work, we know that we can make mistakes, fall down and get back up without losing our sense of purpose.
Environmental policy
We recognize the importance of protecting the environment as a primary asset and are committed to promoting its protection through the daily actions and attention of all our employees, believing it to be an integral part of our business.
We adopt sustainable business conduct, understood as a commitment to minimize the impact of our work activities on the environment by managing work spaces responsibly, avoiding all waste and minimizing waste generation. We therefore support low-impact behaviors on the environment and prefer the purchase and use of materials, products and services with high environmental performance. This applies both to the activities within our premises and to the activities of all employees outside our premises. All employees are authorized to deliver any waste that requires complex disposal procedures to the company headquarters in such a way that the company itself takes care of it.
In order to clearly identify the environmental consequences of our activities and monitor the achievement of our set environmental goals, we carefully monitor our environmental impact in terms of CO2 released through this tool:
Social policy
Our reason for existing is the desire to build human relationships that value people to contribute to the common good. Therefore, our "being" is "being socially responsible" formula that we decline by trying to build a business model that:
show and demonstrate the possibility of a "non-extractive" economic model where the exploitation of people, the creation of excessive inequality, waste and irresponsible pollution are banned;
through supportive collaboration rewards things "done right" and not things "done alone" by eliminating the socially unacceptable effects of meritocracy;
build and help people build human relationships with each other and not just economic-financial relationships;
has profit as a means of pursuing the happiness of people inside and outside the company and not as an end.
For us, being happy is a priority. The first line of our bylaws makes this clear: "Our ultimate goal is the pursuit of the well-being and happiness of all the people who are part of Tirelli & Partners srl Societa Benefit through working in a supportive and motivating environment and participating in shared prosperity economic activity," where the exploitation of people and the creation of excessive inequality are banned."
Here are some of the actions that concretely realize our social policy:
the annual compensation of the highest paid person cannot exceed that of the lowest paid person by more than 7 times. If this happens we intervene with a supplementary bonus to realign the ratio;
to the meritocratic principle we replace that of supportive collaboration. Each employee can feel free to ask managers or colleagues for help, knowing that no reduction in pay will result from this intervention compared to an activity performed completely independently;
we have "protected spaces" in the workday dedicated to cultural activities, sharing experiences or simply being together in which work issues are banished;
we pledge to donate to charity each year a percentage equal to the lesser of 2% of sales or 20% of profits;
we recognize 50 hours per year of paid leave for each staff member to devote to volunteer or pro-bono activities.
