Milan - Villa Horti
Key facts
There's an amazing place in Milan—come check it out!
In the heart of Porta Romana, there’s a surprising place where the noise and traffic of the city give way to tranquility, silence, and nature. It’s called Horti, and I live there. A special architectural project designed by Michele De Lucchi and Daniele Fiori gave shape to the place where I live, but it’s the daily care that has kept it intact since 2022, when it was inaugurated. My favorite space is the living room on the ground floor, with ceilings over five meters high. Ten windows let in the light and naturally draw the eye toward the greenery of the garden that surrounds me on three sides. It is in my connection with the outdoors that I perhaps reveal my most special side. The private garden and the spacious covered patio are the natural extension of my living area. Spaces filled with sunshine and beauty for outdoor dining, entertaining friends, or simply treating yourself to the rare city-dweller’s thrill of country living. The large, fully equipped kitchen is perfect for hosting family gatherings or dinners with friends, who will be dazzled by my beauty, enhanced by your choice of furnishings. My interiors play with carefully selected colors and materials. A few select pieces of furniture create an atmosphere with a strong personality, one that’s hard to mistake for any other place. The airy staircase leading to the upper floor is iconic: a separate area with two bedrooms perfect for accommodating children and guests. The master bedroom is both intimate and spectacular. Intimate because of its size and secluded location; spectacular because of the over 15 linear meters of built-in closets in the separate walk-in closet, capable of holding all your everyday clothes, whether sophisticated or casual. I have an entire floor left to tell you about, and it’s the one dedicated to your leisure time. A space dedicated to wellness, study, and entertainment: what is usually separate elsewhere can all happen in the same place here. I lack nothing, so on this floor I’ve also included everything needed to run the household: a laundry room, an ironing room, and a separate area with a kitchen and bathroom.
